Mrs. Durrence is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with her BA in Middle Grades Education.  She taught for 9 years in the middle school setting before returning to West Alabama to complete her Masters of Education in School Counseling.  In addition to teaching in the middle school, she taught two years of elementary school prior to becoming the counselor of Claxton High School.  Mrs. Durrence lives in Reidsville with her family.
