Mark Stroud is a native of Savannah and has lived in Claxton for fifteen years. He holds an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University, Master of Educational Leadership from Georgia Southern University, and Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Armstrong State College. Mr. Stroud is entering his 29th year of education while also holding positions of teacher, coach, athletic director, assistant principal, and directors positions at the district level.
Mr. Stroud lives in town with his wife, Monica. They have two children, Blake and Emily, who are Claxton High School graduates, and both attend Georgia Southern University.
