October 7, 2024: Evans County Charter School System (ECCSS) will reopen for students on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. We understand that there are some ongoing impacts from Helene that may make it difficult for some to get to school. If your family is facing ongoing challenges, please make our schools aware as you are able. Our goal is to support all of our Tigers with care and compassion as we know this has been a difficult time for all of us.
Our return-to-school plan is listed below:
Tuesday, October 8, 2024---Students return to school.
Monday, October 14, through Friday, October 18, will remain a fall break for students.
Monday, October 14, and Tuesday, October 15, will remain inservice days for staff.
Wednesday, October 16, through Friday, October 18, will remain a fall break for staff.

Our Transportation Department has verified that we are able to run regular bus stop routes. There are a couple of exceptions, and Ms. Tracy Cook, Director of Transportation, is contacting those families individually.
Camp STARS will run this week. CES and CMS students who attend should plan to attend Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon as usual. Please call (912) 334-5063 or (912) 739-3865 for more information.
Parent -Family-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for October 14 and October 15. Each school will share more specific information about conferences.
We are monitoring the path of Hurricane Milton. If any adjustments are needed, we will notify all stakeholders.
