Dr. Toney Jordan has resigned from his position with the Evans County Charter School System (ECCSS).  After retiring at the end of the 2023-2024 school year, Dr. Jordan rejoined ECCSS at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year, serving in a 49% role as the Chief Facilities and Safety Officer.

Dr. Jordan began working at ECCSS in May of 2019 as the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services. During his tenure at ECCSS,  Dr. Jordan’s duties have included overseeing Human Resources, School Safety, Maintenance and Operations, School Discipline, Nursing, Transportation, School Nutrition Program, and Athletics.

“Dr. Jordan has contributed much during his time in Evans County. He helped us open the new high school and Tiger Town Stadium, and his wealth of experience helped us transition during our first full year as a charter school. We wish Dr. Jordan all the best,” Dr. Marty Waters, Superintendent of ECCSS, stated. “At this time, we will not be filling Dr. Jordan’s position. Instead, we will be redistributing Dr. Jordan's duties among our existing staff to ensure a smooth transition and maintain the high standards of our district.”
