December Cafe Menus
Students are invited to participate in our CMS 12 Days of Christmas Dress Up Days. Please refer to the attachment below.
CMS would like to congratulate the 8th grade students who were chosen by their teachers as student of the week during the month of November. Great job, Gael Hernandez and Heather Horton! Keep up the good work!
6th graders in Mrs. Ikner's Language Arts classes are using SOLE (Self-Organized Learning Environment) research/group collaboration to learn new information. Students are given a big question which they must research and discuss with a peer-learning group. Once the research is completed, the information is organized into a presentation that they must present to the entire class. #4Cs #projectbasedlearning

Abracadabra... The Great Jeffini - magic show was performed for students who sold at least two boxes of chocolate during the CES fundraiser. Danika Mikell was the top seller with 19 boxes and will receive a 500 gift card! #CES
Please see the attached flyer for an important 4-H announcement!
From now through December 9, CES will be collecting canned goods to donate to the Evans County Food Bank.
Students, please bring a canned or non-perishable food item to help others in need.
This is one way we can put our “Live to Give” mindset into action. This is a grade-level competition! Who can collect the most? We will celebrate the generosity of our grade-level winner and teachers with an extra special recess!
Updated Information (Change of time and location):

The policy limits the size and type of bags allowed at all Tiger athletic events. All bags are subject to inspection prior to entry. Guests attempting to enter the event with non-conforming bags will be asked to return the items to their vehicles.
Bags allowed are:
Clear plastic tote bags (no larger than 12" x 6" x 12”)
One-gallon plastic freezer bags
Small clutch purses (smaller than 4.5" x 6.5")
An equipment bag necessary for medical items; inspected at the gate
A diaper bag when accompanied by a baby; inspected at the gate
Bags not allowed in Tiger athletic facilities are:
Backpacks
Purses
Binocular or camera cases
Fanny packs
Cinch bags
Printed pattern or oversize tote bags
Exceptions will be made for credentialed news media/photographer equipment bags. These individuals should check in at the pass gate table upon arrival to have their bags inspected at the gate.
In addition, members of student groups involved with the event are permitted to enter with equipment bags when entering with their team or group, in uniform, and with the director or coach.
Mrs. Shaul’s 3rd graders collaborated to use their creativity and critical thinking skills to create a solar oven. Students planned, constructed, and tested out their solar ovens to make s’mores. Students had to make adjustments when the wind began blowing their solar ovens. Quick thinking led to a student’s suggestion of rocks to hold them down! #CES #ExcellenceLeadershipFamily
