The Evans Region College and Career Academy (ERCCA) is pleased to announce that we are one of six schools across the state participating in this year's FLEX program. This year-long program is designed to grow and recognize young entrepreneurs through formal study and a "Shark Tank" style competition. Students participating in the FLEX program will learn more about the trials and tribulations of entrepreneurship, and they will have a chance to win cash prizes, including $5000 for the first-place winner of this year's competition!
Melissa Dark, Director of the Fitzgerald Chamber of Commerce, and Hal Wiley, Fitzgerald High School College and Career Academy CEO, visited our school to introduce our stakeholders to this innovative initiative. In order for schools to successfully implement the FLEX program, school and community partnerships are essential, especially partnerships with local business owners and leaders!
