CMS STEM classes enjoyed decorating one of the school hallways with a nature theme for the Wildlife Essay Contest! The class incorporated the novel “Hatchet” with their essays to learn more about wildlife and the conservation of habitats. Students have learned about rabbit species in our state, turkey populations, CWD in deer and much more! They finished off the week-long unit with archery tag in the gym, made possible by Georgia Southern University Shooting Sports Education Center. #4Cs #projectbasedlearning #BeABigShot

One-gallon plastic freezer bags
Small clutch purses (smaller than 4.5" x 6.5")
An equipment bag necessary for medical items; inspected at the gate

In addition, members of student groups involved with the event are permitted to enter with equipment bags when entering with their team or group, in uniform, and with the director or coach.

Mrs. Shaul’s 3rd graders collaborated to use their creativity and critical thinking skills to create a solar oven. Students planned, constructed, and tested out their solar ovens to make s’mores. Students had to make adjustments when the wind began blowing their solar ovens. Quick thinking led to a student’s suggestion of rocks to hold them down! #CES #ExcellenceLeadershipFamily
