The Academy principal, Mr. Mark Stroud, shared information and celebrations during the ECCSS Board of Education (BOE) work session last night.
Students at The Academy are setting academic and behavior goals. Teachers at The Academy are learning more about how to implement guided reading groups and planning peer observations to see guided reading in action. Mr. Stroud also shared a School Improvement Plan (SIP) update.

Teachers participated in and hosted sessions to help our staff learn more about how to increase engagement and use of 21st-century skills.

Tickets for the CHS Varsity Football away game at Montgomery County have to be purchased through GOFANS. Tickets will not be sold at the gate.

Ms. Thigpen and Ms. Melissa’s class enjoyed their first day of Pre-K!

CMS 8th grade ELA students worked in small groups to analyze a text and share what they learned with their peers.
Students are learning how to work as a team, so they will be able to collaborate for project-based learning and problem-solving.
