Students in Mrs. Myers' 6th grade Science class are learning about how minerals form, minerals' properties, and rock-forming minerals. Students participated in an experiment to observe how dissolved minerals in water can undergo crystallization or solidify in an orderly arrangement of atoms when the water evaporates. Using what they have learned about the properties of minerals, students are performing the role of a Geologist to examine minerals.

Miss CMS, Kamryn Carter, and the Easter bunny (Kamryn's brother, Curtez), visited classes at CES this morning and dropped off some Easter treats!
