The results are in from our ECSS Young Georgia Authors (YGA) Scoring Panel! Huge congrats to our grade-level winners and to our top-three finishers in each grade! The 2022 Miss Claxton High School and Miss Claxton Middle School pageants will be held this Saturday, February 26, 2022 and 6:30 pm in the new Claxton High School cafetorium. An exciting evening themed as "Boots and Bling" is planned as 6 contestants vie for the Miss CHS crown and 4 contestants compete for the Miss CMS title. The afternoon will begin with each contestant participating in the five minute interview with the judge's panel. The contestants will then begin the pageant with personal introductions, followed by casual wear and evening gown competitions. The evening of competition will conclude with each contestant responding to an on-stage question. Entertainment will be provided by Claxton High School advanced chorus members. Jenna Floyd, Miss CHS 2021, and Taylor Bennett, Miss CMS 2021, will bid farewell and assist with presentation of awards and crowning of the new queens. Admission is $5 and voting for People's Choice will occur through intermission.
