Coach Lanier’s US History classes are collaborating and learning the reasons the 13 colonies were established. These development ideas include purpose of establishment, natural resources, available industries, positive and negative impacts, religious and cultural impact, and the interactions between colonist and natives. #KnowledgeIsPower #TigerPride

Please help ECCSS recognize and celebrate these highlights from our ECCSS Board of Education (BOE) meeting this month!
Mrs. Julie Howard, Mrs. Angie Snyder, Dr. Paul Mizell, and Mr. Mark Stroud shared Short Term Action Plans for the first quarter for CES, CMS, CHS, and The Academy during the ECCSS BOE meeting.
Also, Dr. Waters presented Ms. Howard, Ms. Snyder, and Dr. Mizell with special recognition for school- and district- level Beta honors. Each campus was presented with National District of Distinction plaques, and ECCSS was presented with a special award also. This national recognition speaks highly of ECCSS’s commitment to academic excellence, leadership development, and service involvement, and it also illustrates our dedication to preparing students to be college, career, and community ready!
Also, the updated school calendar was approved. This calendar includes updates for Tropical Storm Debby make-up days. Also, based on feedback from our strategic plan Action Building Teams, two parent conference days have been added to the calendar.

🚀 "Watch it Go!" Lab in Mrs. Stephens' 8th Grade Science! 📚
Our 8th graders took part in the exciting "Watch it Go!" lab, where they put their literacy skills to the test by writing detailed procedures. Working in small groups, each student took on a specific role, collecting essential motion data for distance and time.

Claxton Elementary School Pre-K Students Get Hands-On with Fine Motor Skills
Ms. Thigpen's Pre-K class at Claxton Elementary had a fun and educational time using liquid glue and tearing yellow construction paper to create a yellow school bus! The activity helped the little ones develop their fine motor skills while learning how to handle glue and paper. Great job, Pre-K! 🚌✨





Coach Lanier’s America Government & Civics classes are researching different types of government systems worldwide. This is the first step in learning the definitions and aspects of government systems before they dive into understanding the US government.
