Mrs. Hallman's 2nd grade Tiger Time class has been working with CVCe (sneaky e) words this week! They got to play "write the room" where they rotated around the room to various pictures of CVCe words and had to write the word on a recording sheet. They had a lot of fun! 📚🐯✏️ #ReadySetGrow #CES

Our 7 Mindsets focus this week is "Act and Adjust." We want our students to know that things might not always go their way, but they still have to keep doing the right things. #RoarANDSoar #7Mindsets

One of the 7 Mindsets we focus on is The Time Is Now.
Nido Qubein says, "Your present circumstances don't determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start."

See attached flyers for important 4-H announcements.

We're thrilled to announce an incredible partnership between our dedicated Claxton High School teachers and the brilliant minds at Georgia Southern, all made possible by the generous $20,000 STEM/STEAM Professional Learning Grant CHS received!
Claxton High School teachers Bradley Hall, DeeDee Gordon, Amy Holland, Riviera Selph, Meagan Hedden, Angela Beecher, and Jenna Watkins, along with ECCSS Instructional Technology Coordinator Samantha Keyfauver are participating in professional learning by Dr. Shelli Casler-Failing (Associate Professor of Middle Grades and Secondary Mathematics Education and Program Director), Dr. Kania Greer (Coordinator of the Center for STEM Education and College of Education), and Molly McKeon (Graduate Student and Ogeechee Riverkeeper Fellow). This project serves as a testament to the power of teamwork, underscores the importance of experiential learning, and highlights the incredible opportunities that grants like these provide. 🙌🔍 Stay tuned for updates as they embark on this exciting adventure together! 🌟💡
