The CMS softball game this Thursday (vs. South Tattnall County at home) will start at 3:00 pm.

The CHS softball game that was initially scheduled for Thursday, September 14th at Wheeler County has been rescheduled for Friday, September 15 at Wheeler County beginning at 5:30PM.
The CMS football game this week (vs. Tattnall County at home) has been moved from Thursday, September 14 to Wednesday, September 13 at 5:00 pm.
The game was rescheduled in an effort to accommodate our parents who have children who play middle school football and varsity football.

Brian Croft's fire fighting students spent time in the gym completing a 9-11 Memorial Stair Climb. While wearing fire gear, the students climbed 110 flights of stairs in memory of the 343 firefighters that never made it home after climbing the 110 stories of the Twin Towers in an attempt to save lives. #NeverForget #TheDen

During the teacher work day on September 1st, CES math teachers participated in an Illustrative Mathematics training. Teachers learned how to use an asset-based approach in analyzing student work, use multiple questioning strategies, and have students participate in centers can promote progress towards learning goals.
