High School Seniors: Matching with the right college just got easier!
Introducing GEORGIA MATCH, Georgia's new direct admissions initiative for high-school seniors! Beginning this year, every public and private high-school senior in the state will receive a GEORGIA MATCH letter letting them know which University System of Georgia and TCSG - Technical College System of Georgia institutions they're academically eligible to attend.
Students can then request information from their GEORGIA MATCH colleges and claim their spot for admission to the GEORGIA MATCH college of their choice.
GEORGIA MATCH letters will be mailed out this week -- keep an eye out for your letter in the mail!

📊 Ms. Fallin's 1st-grade mathematicians just teamed up for an exciting project! They each created their own unique graphs, crafted story problems and expressions from their data, and then tackled the challenges they'd created. 🧮 Finally, they collaborated with their peers, explaining how these expressions represented their story problem. 🤝🌟

CMS students in Ms. Johnson's art classes are creating 3-D sculptures out of straws. The requirement was to create at least two different 3-D shapes, and the sculpture must be 24 inches tall and be freestanding. Some of the sculptures are being displayed in the CMS media center. Great job, students! #RoarANDSoar

Mrs. Holland’s Biology class is learning about the characteristics of populations. Students performed an investigation to determine the size of a population. They used a method known as mark-recapture to estimate the size of their bean population. A few groups got very close to the actual size of the population. This will help students understand factors that affect populations. #Collaboration #Communication #CriticalThinking
