In ECCSS, we are committed to preparing students for college and careers! One way we do this is through our Work-Based Learning (WBL) Program.
Please see the flyer below and reach out to Ms. Channa Robinson, CHS's WBL Coordinator, for more information.
Congratulations to Hannah Boggs, Class of 2022, for being selected as a student in the Y.E.S. (Youth learning Equipment Safety) Training Program at the Georgia Ports Authority (GPA)!
Each year, the GPA recruits a select number of high school graduates from the Southeast area seeking a career right out of high school. GPA provides valuable on-the-job training and the necessary work experience to become a top-performing employee at GPA. The program begins August 22nd and is year-long with the expectations of becoming a full-time employee of the GPA’s workforce. Hannah was chosen based on her interview, resume, letters of recommendation, and other program qualifications.
Hannah is the only CHS senior this year who pursued this opportunity. She has worked diligently with Ms. Channa Robinson, the CHS Work-based Learning Coordinator, to complete the requirements. We are proud of Hannah, and we wish her all the best as she pursues this opportunity and her career!
