Students in Mrs. Myers' 6th-grade Science class worked in teams to solve a crime while learning how metamorphic rocks are formed. Students performed research to acquire the correct answer and receive a clue. Students enjoyed completing the "Clue" type game to determine who committed the crime, the scene of the crime, and the method.
On Wednesday, Kristy Mock with Evans County Family Connection shared de-stressing activities with CMS Faculty and Staff for Teacher Appreciation Week.
CHS faculty and staff were treated to a Teacher Appreciation Cinco de Mayo lunch sponsored by The Den and prepared and served by Mrs. Hart and her Culinary Arts students.
CHS appreciates our teachers. Monday they were treated to pizza for lunch. Tuesday was Chick-fil-a biscuits for breakfast. Wednesday was ice cream. They'll have more treats on Thursday and Friday.

CES truly appreciates everything our teachers do for our students both inside and outside of the classroom.
Bradley Hall's Basic Ag Science class completed a poultry unit where they incubated chicks to learn about the growth and development stages along the way. Their hard work paid off with new chicks in the classroom.
We're wishing our baseball team well as they travel to Schley County on Wednesday.

Results will be posted by 4PM on May 20th (This will be a possible make up day should there be rain on other tryout days)
NOTE: This will be the only tryouts held for current Evans County Charter Schools students. There may be tryouts held in August should there be any students who transfer into ECCS and are interested in playing softball.

CHS and CMS Special Olympics athletes and volunteers paraded through the hallways Friday afternoon to cheers and encouragement.
Ms. McElveen's class has been learning about animal cells. They made a model using jello and candy based on diagrams they had previously labeled. They got to eat their models and leftover candy once they were done.
