🎓 Let's hear it for our Tigers!🦅
This past Saturday, a group of bright students from Claxton Middle School and Claxton High School soared high during the Migrant Education Program, College Experience Day at Georgia Southern University! 🏫✨
They dove into informative workshops, gained insights from inspiring guest speakers, and explored the sprawling campus. 🗣️🌳
A big shout-out to our students - Fredi, Rose, Lovedana, Dasha, Rayvelis, and Ramon - for representing our schools with Tiger pride and curiosity! 🌟

🌍🎨 A Taste of France in Pre-K! 🧀🥖
Mrs. Herrington and Mrs. Morris' Pre-K class embarked on a delightful journey to France this week! The children crafted their own berets, colored the French flag, and discovered many fascinating facts about the country. 🇫🇷👒
To celebrate their learning, they sampled delicious brie cheese, pesto, and baguette bread. 🧀🥖 Each child also received a mini passport to commemorate their explorations. What a fantastic week of cultural discovery!

The seniors are counting down the days, and we are enjoying every last one that they are with us. This photo is from a quick visit with senior Landon Lambright at his job with Claxton SAW Equipment & Sales. Landon has enjoyed his year of gaining work experience and building professional skills while keeping an eye on his future plans. After graduation, he will enlist in the Marines where he plans to build a career in Aviation Mechanics. We are certain that his work experience has helped prepare him for this path. We look forward to seeing this future unfold, Landon! CHS always will be cheering proudly! #TheDEN #BlackAndGoldBuildingSuccess

🎉🌟 What a heartwarming day at CMS! 🌟🎉
Recently, our hallways were filled with cheers and applause as we celebrated the incredible achievements of our Special Olympics athletes with a spirited hallway parade! 🎈🏅
Our students lined up, banners in hand, to honor their peers who have shown remarkable courage, strength, and sportsmanship. It was a moving display of community and support that exemplifies the spirit of CMS.
To our athletes...you inspire us every day with your determination and zest for life. Thank you for reminding us of the power of unity and the joy of participation in sports. 🌈👏
Let’s continue to support and cheer each other on, not just in competition, but in every challenge we face. #SpecialOlympics #CMSChampions #RoarANDSoar

It’s hard to believe it’s been several months since we featured one of our students working at Georgia Fruitcake Company. Two more Work-Based Learning students have since joined the team there, and they have been serving up all kinds of delicious treats to the good people of the Claxton-Evans County area. Recently. Work-Based Learning Coordinator Mrs. Johns enjoyed an afternoon muffin and was greeted and helped by senior Cristian Muñoz! It’s always a treat to engage with our CHS students out in the professional community. Post graduation, Cristian plans to attend GSU and major in Accounting. He has gained invaluable experience in the operation of a small business, and he looks forward to a career in numbers. Perhaps he will be handling your books one day! CHS is proud of you, Cristian! #TheDEN #BlackAndGoldBuildingSuccess
