On Wednesday, January 24th at 2PM, Ms. Layne Peacock from the CHS Media Center and Mrs. Sabrina Wright from the Evans County Library will be sharing about all the literacy options that are available throughout the year, not just during school. Board members from the Evans Region College and Career Academy and Economic Development Authority attended the Savannah Economic Development Authority Annual Meeting. Members networked and heard regional economic development updates. In addition, Kim Lear, a researcher on generations, shared information to help businesses better understand and support millennials in the workplace. #TheDEN

Today, students at Claxton Middle/High School were served this delicious meal: Stewed Beef, Steamed Rice, Broccoli with Cheese, Sweet Potato Patties, an Apple, and their choice of cold Milk. Our amazing 5th-grade students in the 4-H program took a delicious twist on learning about organelles and nuclei! 🧠✨ Armed with sour Skittles and jello cups, they dove into a hands-on adventure, turning snacks into scientific discoveries! 🍬🔍 Using the vibrant colors of Skittles to represent different organelles, and jello cups as the cellular environment, our young scientists delved into the microscopic world. 🤔🔬 Kudos to our dedicated 4-H educators for making learning not just informative but also a whole lot of FUN! 🎉📚 #ReadySetGrow #HandsOnLearning
