Happy New Year! Mrs. Cowart, Ms. Miyon and Mrs. Penny's class counted down for their Noon Happy New Year celebration! They made hats, had noise makers and wore a fancy candy bracelet to bring in the New Year! They also made resolutions for the year! They varied from learning to ride a bike, going to bed by 9, counting to 100, to reading! We are confident that they will meet their personal goals! #CES #ExcellenceLeadershipFamily

Merry Christmas from ECCSS!
This painting of the two-story building, a former site for Evans County Schools, is called Preserving the Past. It was collaboratively created by CHS Art students: Callie Trani, Lainey Phillips, Lindsey Hunter, Morgan Beall, Hollee Moore, Emily Styles, Coral Tello, and Susana Figueroa .

Lights, Camera, Action! Students from Mrs. Saucedo's class wanted to turn their Christmas writing into a movie. They visited the Collaboratory to learn how to use iMovie to superimpose video recorded in front of a green backdrop over another clip, creating a new background. They practiced several times before teaching other students.

Kindergarten got a special delivery from North Pole. The packages were covered in snow and so cold the delivery workers had to wear gloves. The children were overjoyed when they opened the packages to find their very own (and very cold) Polar Express bell inside! #CES
