Mornings can be rushed, but it is important to make time for breakfast. Children can benefit from the School Breakfast Program! Studies show that school breakfast can raise test scores while improving classroom attentiveness and behavior. Make sure your kids start the school day with a healthy meal!

Congratulations to the ECCSS students who earned five “top spots” in the FDRESA YGA competition: Leanna DeLoach (5th grade, Honorable Mention), Felicia Manuel (8th, Grade-Level Winner), Alyssa Jones (11th grade, Honorable Mention), Arieonna McKinnon (6th grade, 2nd place), and Zionna Corley (9th grade, Honorable Mention).

Let the countdown begin!!
PreK's ABC Countdown to Summer. #CES

Students in Mrs. Myers' class were thinking like Geologists as they explored the processes that form rocks and they cycle that they go through. Ver'Quan emphasized that metamorpic rocks form under heat and pressure! Students simulated this process with chocolate. Chocolate can be weathered into small particles, heated, cooled, and compressed-just like rocks.

Kindergarten had a great time on their field trip to the Wildlife Center at GSU. #CES

Congratulations to our Girls Tennis Team. They are headed to Bleckley County for the next round of playoffs.

Mrs. Murphy's kindergarten students used robots to solve problems, communicate, and work collaboratively for learning in math. Students measured objects with their robots and practiced how to count and graph. #ExcellenceLeadershipFamily #DigitalLearningEnvironment #ActiveLearningEnvironment
